Groundhog Day Party at Healthy Harvest

Moon Shine Babies are playing their non GMO, Organic Music at Healthy Harvest Natural Foods in the afternoon of Thursday, February 2nd.!
We're joining in the Groundhog Day festivities and playing from @1-4pm. Here's more about this great, free, everybody's welcome, party:

Healthy Harvest Natural Foods of Brevard is holding it's annual Customer Appreciation

and Groundhog Day celebration Thursday, February 2. Healthy Harvest is also celebrating it's fourteenth year in Brevard! This years festivities will kick off at noon. Enjoy yourself with great folks and good times,

including free chair massage with John Gale, organic product sampling, a seasonal greens cooking demo,

live music performed by local musicians Suzanne, Jerry, Jim and Sarah of the Moon Shine Babies

as well as locally prepared organic, vegan and gluten free cuisine from Brevard's own Wild Indigo Catering.

Healthy Harvest will also be featuring a tasting of another local favorite, Buchi Kombucha. Much like Healthy Harvest, Buchi is a community centered, family business. Buchi got it's start in Weaverville NC and is continuing the time honored folk tradition of craft-brewing kombucha.

Something for Everybody...

Happy January to all, Moon Shine Babies are back at the Strykes Again Bowling Megaplex in Brevard this Friday night, January 20th. We're going to get the ball rolling (pun intended) @ 7:30pm...we play til 10pm. Last week the place was rockin' and all the lanes were full... The word's out for Friday fun times, with live music from Moon Shine Babies... We may have more special guest appearances this week...thanks to Sophia for joining us on electric fiddle last week! For more info @ the Bowling Alley: www.strykesagain.com And now for something completely different....This Saturday, January 21st, Moon Shine Babies will have our very first appearance at The Quarry Restaurant and Piano Bar in Brevard. The Quarry is located at S. Gaston Street in Brevard. We will be playing from 7:30-10:30pm. We're very excited to join the fine lineup of music being presented at the Quarry in January. The Quarry is fast becoming a premier venue for live music in Brevard. OK...so it's starting to look like a regular Fabulous Friday Event at the Bowling Alley...let's see how January goes...

Moon Shine Babies will be playing at the Bowling Alley in Brevard, this Friday January 13th (whoody whoo!) at @7:00pm-10pm. "Strykes Again", is a most excellent entertainment complex in the teeming Metropolis of Brevard, NC. (at 37 Rosman Highway).

Strykes Again has a full bar, a great beer selection on tap, great prices...($1.50 PBR's in bottles, house wine by the glass $2.50) a groovy retro look, Everett Farms organic beef burgers, pool tables, video games...and of course...bowling! The show is free and bowling is optional... so get your game on!

There's also a Birthday bash happening this week at the Alley and everybody's invited...

We had so much fun last week that we wrote a song about it: "....We're going bowling with the Babies, bowling with the Babies................."
