It's a busy weekend coming up!
Jerry's headed to Pirates Cove AL, for the annual Wooden Boat Festival and Pirate Ball...Arrrgh!
Suzanne is playing a few solo gigs this weekend here in Brevard...
Friday, May 3rd, Suzanne is playing a dinner set at the fabulous Red Lion Inn.
If you're looking for a great getaway spot, without having to go too far, The Red Lion is the place!
For those not familiar with the Red Lion Inn...it's a great refurbished old lodge and dining venue just outside of Rosman on Hwy #178. It's Brevard's best kept secret getaway dinner spot! The rustic lodge is lovely with a cozy dining room overlooking a bubbling brook. The menu is eclectic Americana...meat, seafood, vegan, appetizer, salad, dessert, wine... :)
...And with live music by Suzanne... it's all the makings of a perfect evening! Music is from @6:00-8:30pm. Reservations are not required but recommended for the best seats. The Red Lion is located 12 miles from downtown Brevard. Take hwy 64 to hwy 178 in Rosman. The Red Lion is 3 miles south on 178 from the light in the center of town. For more info, call The Red Lion at: 828-884-6868.
On Saturday Morning, May 4th, Suzanne will be playing the Transylvania Farmer's Market from 9-12. She will be joined by Mike Green on Bass. Yeah! (return of the Vehicles of Pleasure!) The Farmers Market is located off Main Street in the parking lot behind Comporium.
So come on out for fresh made goodies and lots of awesome homegrown stuff...and enjoy some Handmade Artisan music with Suzanne and Mike!
Speaking of fresh and local...Monday night, May 6th, brings back Jerry, Suzanne and Kurt (and maybe Mike) to the Phoenix Restaurant and Lounge in Brevard. We love the mellow atmosphere and great sounding acoustics of the Phoenix. They've got a new (Local Farm to Table!) menu, to add to the tasty music of Moon Shine Babies. So the Phoenix looks to be serving up another great evening in Brevard! The Phoenix Restaurant and Lounge is located at 14 S. Gaston St. (Moon Shine Babies play from 7-10pm.)
